Dear Colleagues,

We would like to cordially invite you to participate at the 5th International Textile Clothing & Design Conference (ITC&DC 2010), taking place in Dubrovnik, Croatia from October 3rd to 6th 2010.

ITC&DC is organized by the Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb, based on successful organisation of previous ITC&DC conferences. The past decade and four of our Conferences have witnessed it being transformed from our first (rather amateurish) attempts to establish a forum for new ideas and experiences into one of the most renowned conferences in the field of textiles globally. You are all to blame for it. The fifth Conference will again try to present and exchange knowledge, experience, results and information related to the newest scientific achievements in the field of textile and garment technology, as well as in fashion design and marketing of textile and clothing. We are certain we shall succeed this time again. The Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb will once again offer hospitality to the textile world and looking forwards to your valuable contribution to the magic world of textiles.

The Conference is planned to deal within the following research fields:

• textile fibres and advanced materials
• manufacture of yarns, fabrics and nonwovens
• textile finishing, dyeing and care
• clothing technologies and engineering
• analysis, testing and quality control
• design and marketing of textile and clothing
• environment protection, ecology and energy management.

All the researchers (and those who plan to be involved in textile science), engineers and students are welcome.
